PATIENCE IS KEY BUT LESSONS MUST BE TAUGHT

I cannot speak from anothers perspective of this moment, but I can tell you the perception of mine.

Composure is dealt with the hand of a smooth wrist and keen eye. Knowingly or not, his hips position parallel to the horses shoulders, possibly in preparations of a disaster. But yet his body language mirrors the equanimity of what he wants to present. Reactive actions but educational. Patience seems to be the most principal segment of the practice. A constant reassurance soothes the horses mind of the unknowns. But this is only the surface level. Patience is key but lessons must be taught. Time and tolerance can only go so far with an inattentive horse. Discipline is necessary. Without discipline there would be no lesson. The colt can rear and strike. This could be catastrophic to a teacher with the lack of mental involvement. Repetition and discipline are necessary evils.

Colt’s are constantly looking to its teacher for reassurance. Reassurance soothes a mind of the unknown. Colt’s can amaze the viewers optics. They are worked diligently but seem to never fatigue. They are curious creatures experiencing what existence will be for the first time. Resilient and willing seem to be semi-contradicting but also in favor of each other between the relations of the colt and its teacher. In common verbiage most would refer to the teacher as a trainer. But I see someone that wants their colt to do good, to be good. And even though many words are given with a stern hand, it’s the connection between the two subsequently that reassures a lesson learned.
